Sevana Nourian is an employment litigation attorney whose practice is devoted exclusively to representing employees in workplace disputes throughout California. She litigates complex matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblower claims, disability accommodation, leave violations, wage-and-hour disputes, and other violations of state and federal employment laws. Ms. Nourian has extensive experience litigating claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the California Labor Code, and related statutes, advocating for employees against companies of all sizes.
Ms. Nourian manages every stage of litigation—from pre-suit investigation and case development through written discovery, depositions, law and motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Ms. Nourian has successfully represented employees in a broad range of employment disputes, securing favorable resolutions in numerous high-value and vigorously contested matters. Her litigation style combines thoughtful advocacy and a practical understanding that every employment case is deeply personal. She recognizes that workplace misconduct often affects not only a client's career, but also their financial security, emotional well-being, and sense of dignity. For that reason, she strives to provide each client with both exceptional legal representation and steady guidance throughout the litigation process.
A first-generation American born to Armenian immigrants from Lebanon, Ms. Nourian was raised with a deep appreciation for perseverance, community, and the pursuit of justice. Growing up in the San Fernando Valley while remaining closely connected to her Armenian heritage, she developed an early interest in civil rights and advocacy that ultimately inspired her legal career. Today, those values continue to shape her commitment to fighting for employees whose voices have been ignored or whose rights have been violated.
